Lyrics in about a minute

In your words

What can go into a faith song, and what can't

AI writes the lyrics from what you tell us. They can give thanks, carry a prayer and hold the meaning of a verse. They can't borrow anyone else's words.

Put it in

  • Your thanksWhat you're grateful for, to them and to God, in the plain words you'd use at the dinner table.
  • The heart of a prayerTell us what you pray for them (peace, courage, a long and happy marriage) and the lyrics turn it into lines they can hear.
  • A verse, by its meaningName the passage, say Psalm 23 or Ruth 1:16, or tell us what it means to you. The song carries the meaning in fresh lines.
  • Your church lifeThe choir loft, the potluck table, the youth trip, the pastor who baptized your kids: the details that make it theirs.

We can't

  • Quote a hymn or worship songWe write original lyrics only. Mention a favorite by its title in your story and play it alongside yours.
  • Sing a Bible translation word for wordWe can't promise any verse will be sung exactly as printed; the meaning comes through in new words.
  • Sound like a worship artistThe voices are synthetic, made with AI. No real singer performs on your song or endorses it.
  • Speak for a churchWe're a song service, not a church or ministry, and we don't represent any denomination.

One more thing: the faith you want the song to express is welcome in your story, and we use it only to write the song. Leave out diagnoses, ID numbers and other people's private details.

Write it like this

Sound and Sunday

A personalized Christian song can be quiet and prayerful or big and joyful. Pick the style, voice and mood on the form; once you've paid, the files are yours to play at a service, a lunch or a livestream.

Styles on the form

  • GospelChoir-style warmth and a big chorus; the closest to a church sound.
  • BalladPiano or guitar, slow and close; right for prayers and blessings.
  • CountryStorytelling verses and an easy, front-porch feel.
  • PopBright and light, for a young listener or a celebration.
  • R&BSmooth and soulful; lovely for a wedding or a duet.
  • JazzA gentle swing for a birthday dinner or Christmas Eve.

There's no Worship, CCM or Hymn style on the form. Gospel comes closest to a church sound, and Ballad suits quiet, prayerful songs.

Voice

  • Female voiceSoft and close, like a lullaby or a blessing
  • Male voiceWarm and steady, good for thanks from a group
  • DuetTwo voices trading lines, for a couple or both parents

Neither is a faith song: one is an anniversary love song, the other a thirtieth-birthday song. They show how one name and one story become a full song.

After the last chorus

Where these songs ended up playing

  • At a garden lunch after a christening, a mother in a pale blue dress holds her baby in a long white gown against her shoulder, the baby facing away, while the father holds up a phone; both are laughing (AI photo, fictional people)
    Our daughter's baptism
We played it at the lunch after the christening. Grandpa asked for it twice, and by the second time the whole table knew the chorus with her name in it.
    Hannah W.Greenville, SC
  • Bride to groom
I gave Caleb his song the night before our wedding. It had the meaning of our ceremony reading in plain words, and the summer camp where we met as counselors.
    Abby M.Lubbock, TX
  • In a sunny kitchen, a grandmother in a lavender cardigan wears headphones and presses a hand to her chest, smiling through tears, while her granddaughter leans in laughing beside a birthday cake with lit candles (AI photo, fictional people)
    Grandma's 90th
Grandma held the headphones with both hands. When it reached the porch where she prays for each of us by name, she stopped it to start again.

  • For a friend in a hard season
Lori had a long winter. I left the medical side out and wrote about our Tuesday prayer walks and the hope I hold for her. She plays it on her drives.
    Denise P.Akron, OH
  • In a church fellowship hall, a gray-bearded pastor in a navy cardigan holds a phone to his ear and laughs with his eyes crinkled, as four members of his small group crowd around smiling, one with a hand on his shoulder (AI photo, fictional people)
    Thank you, Pastor
Our small group surprised Pastor Ray after twenty Easters with us. Gospel, a big chorus, all our names in the bridge. He listened twice right there in the hall.
    Samuel O.Charlotte, NC
  • Godmother, First Communion
My goddaughter is nine, so I kept it light: pop, happy, a chorus about the dress she picked and the promise I made at her baptism. She danced at her own lunch.
    Lucía G.San Antonio, TX
  • On Christmas morning, an older couple sit on a sofa beside a lit tree: he holds a phone between them and grins at her, she leans on his shoulder with a hand over her mouth, laughing through tears (AI photo, fictional people)
    Christmas morning
Our son scheduled it from Germany to arrive on Christmas morning. Forty-five Christmas Eves at the same church, all in one song. Gary blamed the cocoa.

Questions

Before you write their faith song

Plain answers about scripture, hymns and church use. Anything else, email us.

Can you put a Bible verse in the song?

Yes, by its meaning. Name the passage (Psalm 23 or Ruth 1:16, for example) or tell us what it says to you, and the lyrics carry that meaning in fresh lines. We can't promise a verse will be sung word for word from any translation.

Can the song include a prayer?

Yes. Tell us what you pray for them, such as peace, courage or a happy marriage, and the lyrics turn it into lines they can hear. Keep to the hope itself and leave out diagnoses and medical details.

Can you use the words of a hymn or worship song we love?

No. We write original lyrics only, so your song can't quote an existing hymn, worship song or chorus. You can name a favorite by its title in your story, and play that song alongside yours at the service.

Is there a worship or hymn style?

Not as an option. Choose Gospel for a choir-style sound with a big chorus, or Ballad for something quiet and prayerful; Country and Jazz also suit birthdays and Christmas.

Can we play it in church or on our livestream?

Yes. After you pay, our rights in the song transfer to you, commercial use included, so you decide where it plays. Put the MP4 lyric video on the screen, give the MP3 to the sound desk, and print the lyrics PDF in the bulletin.

Can their song be sung in Spanish, Portuguese or Italian?

Yes. Choose English, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian as the song language, which helps when a family prays in more than one.

Can I change it before I pay?

Yes, up to a limit. Edit the lyrics, style or mood and generate again; you'll see how many rounds are left. After you pay, the song itself stays as it is.

Is a real person singing?

No. The vocals are synthetic voices made with AI, and no real singer or artist performs on, takes part in or endorses your song. We're a song service, not a church or ministry, and we don't speak for any denomination.
