From a true story

Every song above is about someone else's marriage

This one isn't. Daniel typed a few sentences about Emma for their tenth anniversary. Here is what the song did with them.

  • A couple in socks and sweatpants slow dancing in a messy kitchen at night, her forehead against his chest (AI photo, fictional people)10th anniversary
Ten years, two kids, zero date nights. We played it in the kitchen after bedtime and actually slow danced. Then the baby woke up.

  • A young woman wrapped in a blanket on a small balcony in the morning, earbuds in, eyes shut and grinning at her phone (AI photo, fictional person)1st anniversary
I'm not a words person, so I let the song say it. She has played it every morning this week on the balcony.
    Tom H.Nashville, TN
  • An older couple at a dinner table laughing hard while their adult daughter holds a phone toward them (AI photo, fictional people)30th anniversary
My parents' 30th. We put how they met in the lyrics, including the part where Mom said no the first time. Dad could not stop laughing.

FAQ

Anniversary song questions

The things couples ask before they write theirs.

Which anniversary year is this for?

Any year. You type the number and the story, and the lyrics are written for that year, whether it is the first or the fifty-first.

Can the song be from both of us?

Yes. Write the story in the first person plural, or give us both sides. Many couples make one together and play it at dinner.

We need it by tomorrow night. Is that realistic?

Yes. The two versions are ready a few minutes after you finish the story, and the gift page goes live the moment you pay. Most couples are done within half an hour.

Can we use it for a first dance or a vow renewal?

Yes. You get the MP3 to play anywhere, and at checkout you can add an instrumental version if you want to sing it yourselves.

What if a line is not quite right?

Change it. Before paying you can rewrite lyrics, switch the style or the mood and get two fresh versions, as many times as you need, for free.

Does it sound like a real song?

Judge for yourself: Ordinary Days above was made here, and you hear both of your own versions in full before you pay a cent.
